Financing

Financing is a huge part of buying a home. Unless you are one of the lucky few who can pay cash, you will need to find a lender to help you find the loan program that is best suited to you. It may be a conventional loan, or maybe an FHA, VA, WHEDA or other loan program. Although there are financing programs for zero down , you will most likely be required to have a down payment. This can be as little as 3% of the price of the home or it may require as much as 20% down.

In the Janesville area, there are over twenty banks and credit unions. They are all similar, but there are differences.
